Convert iPhone photos to a widely supported format.

JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, AVIF40 MB / file
How it works
FileFit decodes a HEIC photo on your device and encodes a real JPG. JPG improves compatibility with many upload forms but is lossy and may produce a larger file than the HEIC source.
- Choose your HEIC photo. JPG output is preselected.
- Set quality or a maximum KB limit if needed; keep original dimensions unless the destination requires a change.
- Convert, review orientation and detail, and download the JPG.
Supported files and limits
JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, and browser-decodable AVIF. Images are limited to 32 megapixels. Up to 40 MB per file; batches up to 20 files and 80 MB. Single-document operations accept one PDF.
Useful answers
Why is the JPG bigger than the HEIC?
Different codecs compress differently. JPG can need more bytes for the same dimensions. Use a size target or smaller dimensions if the destination has a limit.
Can every iPhone photo be converted?
No universal compatibility is promised. Generated HEIC fixtures are tested, but unusual HEIF variants, very large photos, and device memory can cause decoding failures.
Are GPS and camera details preserved?
Re-encoding removes metadata. FileFit does not offer metadata preservation. The downloaded JPG contains newly encoded pixels.
