How it works
This workspace starts at 200 KB (200,000 bytes). A 200 KB ceiling may still require fewer pixels for a large phone photo. Keep the required dimensions and check faces, text, and edges.
- Choose a supported photo. The maximum size is already 200 KB.
- Keep the required dimensions if the form specifies them. Choose JPG or WebP when the destination accepts lossy images.
- Compress and check that the output is no more than 200,000 bytes. Review readability before downloading.
Supported files and limits
JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, and browser-decodable AVIF. Images are limited to 32 megapixels. Up to 40 MB per file; batches up to 20 files and 80 MB. Single-document operations accept one PDF.
Useful answers
Does 200 KB mean exactly 200,000 bytes?
FileFit treats 200 KB as a maximum of 200,000 bytes, using decimal KB. A smaller file meets this size requirement; no padding is added to make it larger.
Will every photo fit under 200 KB?
No. A 200 KB ceiling may still require fewer pixels for a large phone photo. Keep the required dimensions and check faces, text, and edges. If fixed dimensions prevent meeting the limit, the result is marked as over the target.
What else should I check before submitting?
Check the actual format, pixel dimensions, orientation, and readability as well as bytes. A size limit alone does not describe every upload rule.
