How it works

To produce exactly 300 × 300 pixels, enter width 300 and height 300, choose px, and use Crop to fill or Fit with padding. Fit within dimensions preserves proportions and can produce a smaller rectangle.

  1. Choose an image and enter a width, a height, or both. Select px or a physical unit with PPI.
  2. Choose Fit within dimensions for a maximum box, Crop to fill for a filled exact box, or Fit with padding to keep all content.
  3. Resize and check the actual output dimensions. Inspect crop position before downloading.

Supported files and limits

JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, and browser-decodable AVIF. Images are limited to 32 megapixels. Up to 40 MB per file; batches up to 20 files and 80 MB. Single-document operations accept one PDF.

Useful answers

How do I resize to 300 by 300 without stretching?

Set width and height to 300 px. Crop to fill removes edges to make a square; Fit with padding retains the full image inside a square canvas.

Why is my output not exactly the entered width and height?

Fit within dimensions treats the two values as maximum bounds and keeps the source ratio. Use Crop to fill or Fit with padding for an exact canvas.

How are centimeters converted to pixels?

Pixels equal inches multiplied by PPI. Divide millimeters by 25.4 or centimeters by 2.54 to get inches. FileFit rounds the calculated pixel dimensions to whole pixels.
